Zener 8000

Also known as AC drive, motor speed controller, VVVF, VFD, VSD, Varidrive or PWM Drive, the Zener Variable Speed Drive provides direct control of the speed of an electric motor whilst maintaining high levels of motor torque.

 

Variable speed drives achieve this speed control by varying the frequency applied to the motor. Using a PWM (Pulse Width Modulated) control system the output is controlled to vary the voltage and frequency to the motor

  • Can operate from single phase supply - and ensure maximum torque is delivered

  • Solar DC Powered option available - see below

  • Can also come with DC bus choke, which is enginerred to provde robust solution that overcomes challenges of 480VAC Single Wire Earth Return supply

Robust Enclosures

  • Enclosures range from IP00 to IP66 depending on customer needs. Standard range is available in IP30 for switchboard mounting or IP66 for wall mounting with protection against dust and water. IP66 protects the internal electronics against ingress of dust and water. Also:

  • Efficient cooling system with 50 degrees Celcius rating

  • Staineless steel option is also avialbe for the harshest enviornments

Ecodrive 8000 

The Zener ECODRIVE® solution is a Solar Variable Speed Drive with a built-in Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) controller to achieve the maximum power from the Solar Array under all conditions. The ECODRIVE® also includes Zener's sophisticated motor control algorithm designed to achieve maximum motor energy efficiency.

Harvesting free power from the sun is an ideal method to eliminate the high cost of pumping whether using a generator or power from the grid.
